Textiles, printmaking, patchwork, soft sculpture, reconstructed clothing, blacksmithing! You can also pick up a printed program from the gallery later this week. Feast your eyes on the range HERE.

The blacksmithing workshops have been very popular - but there are still a couple of places left! Book in ASAP so you don't miss out. The full weekend workshop is HERE and the short taster (with a glass of wine) is HERE. (No reason you can't do both...)

All of our courses offer a safe, cheerful and casual environment to engage your creative side. Very non-threatening, and a great way to meet other people in the community as well. By enrolling in any of our courses, you are also supporting the work we are doing to offer them.

Workshop Studios for Rent!

We now have a couple of artist workshop studios for rental! At just $40 per week, you get a space that's yours in a shared creative environment. Access to a small kitchen and bathroom included. The workshop spaces are approximately 4.5 metres by 2.5 metres. Contact us for a walk-through or to express your interest. Send us an email at: info@swmakers.com.au

Breaking News! We’re thrilled to announce that our studio now has a professional printmaker’s press! This opens the door for our creative community to a wide range of printmaking techniques, including etching, linocut and woodblock printing, monoprints, collography and experiments of all kinds. Whether you're a seasoned printmaker or want to try it for the first time, this press is for all of our members.

Make!Don't forget our Thursday Makers weekly group! Every Thursday from 10am - bring along your own project, and work on it in the company of others. Creative camaraderie!

Exhibition! This is the last week of Brett Jarrett's stunning exhibition, Birds of the South West. Do make sure you pop in to see it before it packs up.

For the Diary!

The next exhibition will be launched on Thursday, 3 July at 6pm. This is a joint exhibition of works by April Welfare and Sue Quinlan Brain, titled Found Landscapes. Our monthly launches provide a great opportunity to meet our artists, to support our art space, and to socialise and make new connections.

Volunteer!

Thank you for your support! If you are looking to help us out and don't know how, you can volunteer with us at any time. We are always looking for people to add to our roster keeping the shop open seven days a week, and there are a multitude of other jobs we can give you as well. Pop in and talk to someone or send an email - info@swmakers.com.au.
