Please come along to our AGM on Wednesday 23rd July at 5.30pm in the Workshop space next to Glyph Gallery (down the driveway to the left of Cat Street). Following a brief presentation of the Annual Report and election of office bearers we will be discussing the future goals and actions of Glyph Gallery and Creative Space. Complimentary drinks and nibbles available.

It will be helpful if you have read our “Business and Engagement Plan” and “Action Plan” (linked above) which have been put together, in consultation with members, by Loren Tuck and Ailiche Goddard-Clegg. This process began at our last AGM and has been funded by the Fletcher Jones Family Foundations. It will assist us to direct our available time and resources towards the actions that members believe are most effective to maintain and improve the organisation.

The Action Plan has four goals, each with up to 11 actions. Prior to the AGM, it would be very useful if you could think about which of the four goals you are most interested in and the importance and urgency of each of the actions attached to it. At the AGM we will be workshopping to prioritize the actions by working in four groups. The process will be facilitated by Mark Chapman (past principal of Port Fairy Consolidated School), Stacey Barnes and Kay McConnell and Britt Gow. We look forward to your attendance and input.

There's a new course of the hugely popular ceramics classes with Port Fairy's best-loved ceramicist, Meg Finnegan, starting this week. They are held either Tuesday afternoons for six weeks, or Wednesday mornings for six weeks. You can select the session time that suits you best. Free-form fun with the option of using a variety of clays, techniques, including wheel-thrown, and all works can and will be glazed and fired. A great way to get started for beginners, or for people who want to revive old skills! Bookings through our 'Activities & Events' page.
