About the event
This course in ceramics, over Tuesday afternoons (10, 17, 24 June 1, 8, 15, 22, 28 July) from 1 pm - 4 pm will allow participants to cover wheelwork, slab building and coil work. the course runs over 8 weeks. (The registration fee is only for 6 weeks, so you can opt out of 2 sessions throughout the course if you need to. At the end of the 8 weeks if you have attended more than 6 sessions it is $50 for each extra weeks, payable at the end of the program)
The theme will be open to the creators, but there will be sculpture & domestic ceramics suggested if the artists need inspiration.
All clay, tools and essential goods for the workshop will be provided. The clay will be charged on weight and type at $8 per kilo.
The firing cost will be also charged on the weight of the piece at $8 per kilo. All glazes are provided as part of the charge for the workshop.
Please note: entry to the workshop is down the driveway to the left of the building.
