A 8-week course in ceramics covering wheelwork, slab building and coil work. The workshop fee covers 6 session, if you are able attend all 7 or 8 session please pay extra session at the end of the workshops

About the event
This course in ceramics, over Tuesday afternoons (5, 12, 19, 26 Aug, 2,9,16,23 Sept) from 1 pm - 4 pm will allow participants to cover wheelwork, slab building and coil work. the course runs over 8 weeks. (The registration fee is only for 6 weeks, so you can opt out of 2 sessions throughout the course if you need to. At the end of the 8 weeks if you have attended more than 6 sessions it is $50 for each extra weeks, payable at the end of the program)
The theme will be open to the creators, but there will be sculpture & domestic ceramics suggested if the artists need inspiration.
All clay, tools and essential goods for the workshop will be provided. The clay will be charged on weight and type at $8 per kilo.
The firing cost will be also charged on the weight of the piece at $8 per kilo. All glazes are provided as part of the charge for the workshop.
Please note: entry to the workshop is down the driveway to the left of the building.
