DRAWING: DEVELOPING OBSERVATIONAL AND PERCEPTUAL DRAWING SKILLS with SALLY FORREST

A one day foundation workshop, learning the joy in observing and connecting through drawing.

Do you think “I can’t draw that!”? Here are the skills to begin your drawing adventure!

The workshop will be a blend of practical exercises and demonstrations covering the following:  Line - looking for edges and contour, measuring skills, turning the three dimensional into the two dimensional, the perception of spaces - negative space, value, shape, form and contour. Followed by a quick discussion on using photography and photos to draw.

Please bring whatever the drawing materials you currently use, Sally will provide paper and a range of pencils. Please bring your name tag and coffee mug.

Refund Policy​To assist in the management of this workshop a cancellation process is essential. Your cancellation must be emailed to:  info@swmakers.com.auCancellations to up until 6 weeks before the workshop – refund 80% of workshop fee paid. Cancellations after that date 50% refund.Glyph Gallery & Creative Space reserves the right to cancel a workshop if the minimum class enrolment is not reached 2 weeks before the workshop is due to commence. If a workshop is cancelled, participants will be offered a full refund if preferred or a full refund
