COLLABORATIONS with NATURE with KATE GORRINGE-SMITH

Eco-printing on paper PLUS monoprinting with natural objects

In this two-day workshop Kate will teach participants eco-printing techniques for paper and fabric. She will also teach a simple monoprinting technique to incorporate the use of natural materials, cut-out stencils or other textured items into your prints.

This workshop is suitable for people with any skill level.

As well as teaching you new techniques, this workshop is designed to be an introduction to the Overwintering Project, an environmental art project that I run to engage artists and audiences around Australia and New Zealand with their local migratory shorebirds and migratory shorebird habitat. It is hoped that some or all of you might use the work made over the weekend as the basis for an Overwintering Project print to join the Print Portfolio for a celebratory 10th anniversary exhibition at the Latrobe gallery next year!

Materials fee: $25 payable to the tutor on the first day in cash.

Please bring you useal drawing things other material supplied for print making

Tea and Coffee is provided, please bring your own lunch or there are many option for takeways just down the street.

Cancellations to up until 6 weeks before the workshop – refund 80% of workshop fee paid. Cancellations after that date 50% refund.Glyph Gallery & Creative Space reserves the right to cancel a workshop if the minimum class enrolment is not reached 1 weeks before the workshop is due to commence. If a workshop is cancelled, participants will be offered a full refund
