SHORT COURSE BLACKSMITHING with ROB NANSEN: JESSE’S STUMP (1)

Come for a fun 2-hour blacksmithing taster workshop on Friday night with a complimentary glass of wine!  

Through forging a traditional S-hook, you will learn beginner forging techniques, including hammer and tong use, heating, shaping, bending, twisting and beeswax finish. S-hooks are great for hanging pot plants or for using in the kitchen. 

All forge equipment, materials, safety gloves and goggles are provided.  Participants are asked to wear long sleeves and pants and non-flammable clothing, with closed-toe shoes and long hair tied back.

$ 11 materials fee to be paid in cash to the tutor.

Please note: entry to the workshop is down the driveway to the left of the building.
