About the event
This course in ceramics, over Monday evenings (2, 9,16, 23, Feb, 2, 9, 16, 23 March) from 6 pm - 9 pm will allow participants to cover wheelwork, slab building and coil work. the course runs over 8 weeks. (The registration fee is only for 6 weeks, so you can opt out of 2 sessions throughout the course if you need to. At the end of the 8 weeks if you have attended more than 6 sessions it is $55 for each extra weeks, payable at the end of the program)
The theme will be open to the creators, but there will be sculpture & domestic ceramics suggested if the artists need inspiration.
All clay, tools and essential goods for the workshop will be provided. The clay will be charged on weight and type of clay.
The firing cost will be also charged on the weight of the piece at $10 per kilo. Glazes are provided as part of the charge for the workshop.
Please note: entry to the workshop is down the driveway to the left of the building.
