JAPANESE STYLE BOOK BINDING with VICKI REYNOLDS

Vicki Reynolds will lead this low tech workshop where you will make a hand stitched book, using traditional Japanese binding techniques. A good introduction to bookbinding for the inexperienced. All materials supplied.

All materials supplied. Bring an apron and wear closed in shoes.

Vicki has been a papermaker for more than 20 years, she has had several residencies at Museo Della Carta, Fabriano, Italy’s iconic working paper museum, and participated in the International papermaking workshop at Awagami in Tokushima, Japan.

She has taught papermaking, printmaking, book binding, drawing and photography, most recently at Adelaide College of the Arts- Flinders University. She is a member of Portland Bay Press, her own studio is known as Vicarious Press.

Your cancellation must be emailed to:  info@swmakers.com.au Cancellations to up until 6 weeks before the workshop – refund 80% of workshop fee paid.
