INTRODUCTION TO LINO CUT with BRITT GOW

Learn how to design, cut and print designs in one colour on paper or fabric. Then use several different techniques to print in two or more colours, including jigsaw, watercolor, graduated and rainbow rolls and chine colle.  Beginners will be supported to create a design of their choice and those who have attended previous workshops will be extended to improve and refine their prints.

This workshop runs over 2 days: Wed 2 & Thur 3 September.

All material supplied: material fee $ 50 payable to the tutor in cash on the first day of the workshop.

Britt Gow is an artist and printmaker living on the volcanic plains of the Gunditjmara people. She uses a range of techniques, including linocut, drypoint, woodgrain printing and collagraphy to create images that often reference the local flora, fauna and natural environment. Britt is an experienced teacher and enjoys seeing participants develop their skills in printmaking.

Tea and Coffee are provided in the workshop, please bring our own lunch or support our local businesses by purchases you lunch from the many local cafes just down the street.

Please note: entry to the workshop is down the driveway to the left of the building.

Refund Policy​To assist in the management of this workshop a cancellation process is essential. Your cancellation must be emailed to:  info@swmakers.com.auCancellations to up until 6 weeks before the workshop – refund 80% of workshop fee paid.
